What size skis would you guys recomend?

I think I've settled on some The Whipit by J skis. Their sizing options are somewhat limited, so I was just hoping to get some feedback on what people thought. Im a little over 130 lbs and about 5'8 1/2". I'm still growing and getting heavier. I'm hoping to have these skis for years to come, but unsure on whether I should get 171's or 178. Thanks

I'd say you'd be fine either way. Due to your weight, 178s are going to be pushing it in length, but if you want to grow in to them, I think it'd be ok.

It depends how strong you are on and off skis. You could go either way. If you want to have more maneuverability and progress your jibs faster, go with the 171. If you plan on growing a lot more and getting much stronger, and dont want to buy new skis again anytime soon, then go with the 178..
However, I am 6'3 180 lbs, and i ski 179s for my park/jib ski. I normally ski 185-195 for all mountain/powder.

I'm 5'7 145 and ski on 178's but honestly, it's all about your preference some people like shorter skis some like longer. i love skiing on the longer skis it took almost a season to get used to but now id never ski in shorter skis!

I'm 6'2" 170lbs and I have the 178 Whip-its. I can barely tell that they are on my feet, very easy to maneuver. If I was your height I would go with the 171's. It really depends on your style... I'm aggressive and I turn hard so I like longer skis.
