GoPro Fisheye Lens Effect

Does anyone know how to mod you're gopro housing to make it so you can see the lens. Hard to explain, heres a picture.

You could add this in post-production pretty easily. It'll look just as shitty as if you modified the gopro housing to do so.

you have to alter the lens somehow so its further away from the sensor I think. that example image doesnt look like it was a gopro. and why would you want this effect.

That's way too extreme to be a regular go pro, I'm pretty sure all they do is add a "wide angle" extension, I know that they sell them with some shitty canon lenses and it gives you that sort of effect when zoomed in, so there's probably some sort of attachment for the go pro lens as well?
