Where did you guys learn all the names of the tricks?
Hi there, as a newbie who has started freestyle skiing last season, I'd love to know how do you guys remember all the tricks and what they look like, cause I just cant remember them all. Just by following the scene?
Some stuff is random, but for jump tricks theres a pretty logical nomenclature. If you watch hours and hours of it you'll eventually just know what you're looking at each time and be able to give it a name.
There's probably a lot of people who can do a ton of tricks and don't really know what to call them though.
been skiing for ten years now and i still haven't taken the time to try and learn all the different names, at least for grabs anyways. just send it and if you don't know the name of the trick you did just make it up.
Hanging out on ns too much or with skiers works. I didn't ski for years that most of these tricks were invented but no them all. I'm telling skiers the correct names for their tricks sometimes. I think I know ski tricks better than snowboarding at this point.
