Im not into that frat life. Im not a real prepster douche, and i dont wanna pay the extra money for my friends to be made for me in such an artificial and materialistic setting.

Graduated from this program in 2012. You get basically every Friday off after Freshman/Soph year depending on Electives - aka, 3 days of skiing if you manage your work properly. Studio times are actually super rad and something you'll graduate with as one of the strongest memories..it's a very demanding program regarding time and you'll be so thankful you stuck with it when you have a bunch of your friends complaining about how they spent hours and hours in the library writing up that 12page midterm paper when you got to spend the same or half that time in studio playing on the computer and building/designing/drawing things with your own hand while conversing with classmates and blaring music and having food delivered to your desk

I visited that school all the way from Iowa this summer and was blown away by how amazing the program sounded. What did you emphasize? I'm thinking about landscape architecture

I did Architecture. Fresh/Soph year my electives were things like Ethics, one Math Analysis class (never took anything higher like Calc), psychology, and something else. I got those on a M,W,F schedule since studios were T,TH. So by 8:50am on Friday, I had a three day weekend - a.k.a. hop in my Tahoe and zip up to El Dora 25mins away fora full day of shred or make the drive to Summit. The program really is great, I mean, I work in a firm now doing CAD stuff. It's not a 5year accredited school like Oregon or Cal Poly and what not but you get the full effect of working. Stick with it though. The work may get harder or look harder as you start out in your younger years but you learn and you'll be amazed at how much progress you make.

My Senior year involved a ton of CNC building with my models. I was behind on credits due to slacking Soph year so after I graduated/walked I took 3 classes over summer of 2012. May-July. One was Color Theory - learning what colors and paint work best in certain environments and buildings, complimentary, etc. I basically colored, shaded, and drew for 2-3 hours twice a week over summer and got an A. Like.....come on.

Forsure man, thats what I had been looking into for a long time but I'm going into either business or journalism instead. Just got accepted and committed last weekend.

Just got accepted into env design. Probably headed to Boulder next year.
