Game of SKATE NS edition

not really SKATE, but I had an idea. Someone posts a video of them doing a trick (rails are best so people can do this early season in their backyard), then the next person has to:

a- do the trick the last person did, then
b- do a new trick for the next person to do


I'll start: BS switch up (sorta)

People have so many logged shots that they probably wont even have to film, they can just upload it with no effort put into the shot

This could be really awesome and maybe to counteract the confusion set up guidelines and rules for doing the trick and setting it. Also maybe have a rule that film must be recent, so we don't have people just digging around old footage to bang out a few tricks easy.

I think there would be a lot more people who would do it if it could be older footage. This could have potential but I think it needs to be done separately somewhere else on NS. Not sure where though.

Sounds cool but since it's filmed you can have as many chances as you want to get the trick so it kinda defeats the purpose of skate

You could have a mandatory prop like sign with the date on it to be flashed at the start so that we know its a current shot.

I don't want to sound like a douche, but wasn't that just a regular sw on switch out? Lip should be coming from the other side with tails coming over the top of the rail? Correct me if I am wrong.

figured I'd bring this up again. Here's a (shitty) switch lip to switch. and next trick will be a line of regular railslide to forward, a 3, then lip on to forward. hopefully someone has enough snow left to o this, and it doesn't need to be all in one take since that might be impossible for many.

you have your switch tricks messed up. what he did was a switch lip and switch tails would be, well... switch tails. lol or switch regs if you would.

I think you have to post a video of you doing the next trick. Then that person does that and another trick and so on.

First off cool game.
I think that is a switch lip on, I'm pretty sure going lip on is when the uphill tips of the skis (front tips if you're going for switch lip on) go over the rail first, so that they end up on the opposite side of the rail that you took off from, versus riding on regular where your downhill tips go over and across the rail to the opposite side you jumped on from. If he went on from the other side switch and the tails came over the rail it would have just been a regular switch on to sliding right foot forward...somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
