If I was thinking about buying a carving type of ski, what am I looking at? Atomic redster series? Those weird elan skis that have dedicated left and right skis? Fischer? Volkl? Head? I'm thinking of something that has a short turn radius but doesn't need to be going mach 5 to turn because even though everything is solid ice come night time, the hills arent really that steep. definitely has to have a fast base, which I would maintain and I could take care of the edges too. I'm looking around and considering the construction of lots of these types of skis it looks like i'd be riding a steel beam, but whatever. and lots of skis seem to come with bindings and risers (if thats what they're called) and such.
