Well I managed to pull off a rather entertaining half-ass nose butter which resulted in my face coming in contact with the snow. I have my DIN at 8 (160 pounds) but yet both skis still managed to release. I'm afraid to crank it up more so early in the season. So does anyone have any reccomendations on how to place less pressure on the heal mount when buttering?
Other than lighter equipment and clothing, can't think of anything. Just set it at 10. If you are skiing hard and not getting ejected on 8, that is surprising.
