BINDING PARTS!

I didn't see parachute cord. Tie knots in it, and boom you've got a cornice saw and something to cut out the back side of a block or pit or whatever (for OP), it's just really versatile as a tool, can help build a shelter, could tie you off if you had to attempt a sketchy rescue, and on and on.

New to my kit this year is this little solar cell phone charging device. Never hurts to have a backup cell battery (somewhere warm!! like taped to your body, or in an internal pocket) if you're in an area with good coverage.

This is a great list. The only things I would add are water purifiers (like iodine or auquamuira), a multi tool, and a tarp, to make a shelter with, and extra socks. The tarp takes up a bit of space, but could definitely be a life saver if you need to spend a night in the back country.
