Night shoots

What's everyone's opinion on night shoots? I get that they look cool and all, but idk I like to see what's going on when they land and shit.

Most jump landings are lit up if it's at a park, for urban you can usually see the landing. I'm just trying to figure out what he's talking about when he says he wants to see them land.
