My house got ransacked and robbed. They literally opened every closet/cupboard/drawer/cabinet and rummaged through it looking for things that could easily be sold quickly. Such a bummer. They took half a 26 of fireball, and 1/4 ounce from my nightstand, not to mention $1000's in electronics and jewelery. My underwear was also strewn across my floor. They just kicked the side door in. Unbelievable. Something scared them off though, they had the golf clubs ready to go but left them. They also took a house key, so I'm sleeping with an arsenal tonight.
This reminds me of a story I heard. This college kid came home from a party drunk/high af. He opened the door, saw some guy in his living room and they just looked at each other for a couple seconds before the kid fell to the floor with alcohol poisoning. But the burglar was a somewhat good guy and called 911 before he gtfo'ed
Junkies. I live in a super rural area and my house has been broken into a couple times. They steal very specific things since around me you can trade stuff like a laptop with a power cord directly for heroin without having to pawn it first. Most of the time though they pass over things that are blatantly of high value and instead go for what they're specifically looking for
Real talk:
1) File a police report. They'll come dust for prints and take statements. This will come in handy later on.
2) Call your landlord. You'll likely be liable for the damage unfortunately. At least you can have him change the locks especially if a key is missing.
2) If you have renters insurance file a claim. They'll require a police report.
3) If you don't have renters insurance (likely) call your parents. They may have a claus on their home owners that would cover you. Assuming your still a dependent and they pay your bills.
Thanks for the support! We filed a police report. Can track the mac to a house but police won't do anything about it, and it's in the ghetto so I don't really want to get stabbed / shot. Insurance already replaced all the electronics, can't believe how fast! A salesman from a security company came by asking if we wanted a security system, haha so greasy watching the police ticker for break ins.
Something similar just happened to my friends. They had a window broken and a bunch of weed stolen, pajamas, and an iPod stolen. What ended up happening was the kid had find my iPod on his iPod so as soon as it was turned on they had a location. Also, the neighbors actually had a security camera and they got the guys faces. So they had a description and a location and they went to the cops. Don't mention that weed was stolen( for obvious reasons). They got their stuff back and everything was good.
Because you have had a lot more stolen I'd go to the cops right away and if your home insurance covers theft I'd suggest going to them and filing a claim(I think that's what it's called). Good luck dude. I hope you get your stuff back. +vibes

Cops won't help you? Seems like your only move is to go to the cops and say you know they've been receiving bribes of stolen weed from the security salesman who is in fact the burglar and breaks into houses in order to convince people to buy security systems

Sit in the middle of your kitchen ass naked with all the lights turned off and a large dildo next to you. If they come back tell them you've been waiting. This is a win-win situation with any outcome.
