SLVSH has been killing it with the recent videos every Tuesday from this past summer.

I'm thinking more people should play games of SKATE and their home mountains. Honestly we are a community and we should act like it. So lets just film games of SKATE and be able to expand this righteous community.

Newschoolers should do a Battle for Aberrica type thing, similar to what The Berreics does.

Heres how it could go down

Crews from different mountains battle it out SKATE style and it would be a tournament through out the season. If you win then you move on through the bracket.

Crews would be picked randomly with in their respected region.

Once you win the region than you would proceed to the next region and so on and so on, making your way across the country.

My "crew" can hardly scrounge enough for gas money to the mountain, let alone a travel budget for touring the country and skiing different resorts. Sounds awesome, but only if you get redbull to sponsor it and fly kids around the country.

This would be cool, but I think it'd be too hard to accomplish. You' d have to find the right sponsors and shit like that dude said ^. Idk if anyone has seen the Transition vert competition that was also done by The Berrics, but that's another event/format that would be cool to see skiers take some inspiration from.

Yea I think that Transition competition was called In Transition. I dont know why that can be done. You take the best tranny skiiers out. Riley, Flynn, Vila, Harlaut, Owen, Casabon, Hall. Have them sumbit a 1:30 edit of the best transition skiing. It is jusged on by a selective panel of skiers, and who ever wins gets a dank ass cash prize.

I really dont understand why these comps have not happened before. If we want to progress the sport and progress this site and others like it than we need to have these types of competitions. Surfing and skating does it so why not skiing.

Did you guys heard of Vars tournament?
It's a contest with the SKATE format taking place each year in Vars, France. Dunno if the videos are uploaded on US websites.

There's pretty good riders like Henrik, Vinnie$, Torin, Will Wesson, P White and many more. The contest is either in BC or park.

It's pretty fun, probably my preferred contest I'd say. You guys should like it.
