How do you pack and carry all your gear?

I was wondering how everyone carries all their gear; Gear packs, duffels, etc.

Skis on the rack, poles boots and socks in the back seat, wearing the rest. Throw the socks and boots on in the parking lot - good to go. I try to not mess around with bringing bags into a lodge

For trips: boot bag, clothes and other gear in duffel, 2 ski roller.

Pretty simple, I'm sure all the answers are pretty much gonna be the same

I have no idea how I would do it if I didn't have a locker at the mountain. I leave my skis and board there, extra layers in a backpack with helmet and goggles and lunch and such, then ski boots over one shoulder and snowboard boots over the other.

Since I mostly have to fly or coach to resorts in Europe I have one of the head world cup rebels bags, thing swallows four sets of skis, boots and clothes for two weeks. Scotland = open boot of Subaru, pile stuff in.

I don't need to pack anything. what are you guys doing where you need to pack stuff? just take it there and put everything on in the parking lot if you don't already live in a ski town??

Driving:
day trip: Most in a backpack, boots in the front passenger foot well, skis in the back of the car:

multiday travel: skis in back or on rack, duffle bag with all my ski gear in it.

Flying/trains:
Dakine 200cm double with everything other than boots, boots with me and my personal gear on the plane.

I have a big mesh backpack for scuba gear that works wonders for carrying wet and smelly ski clothes when I go on trips.

I usually take a bus up to the hill, so I put my skis in a bag, throw them on top of everyone else's skis in the bottom compartment. Have my helmet, boots, mitt's, etc. in a boot bag. And then I wear everything else.

Do you NEED to buy a boot bag? Or can you just put your boots in any normal duffel bag...which would allow them to move around. Boot bags have them securely fastened away.

You must drive an automatic.

Depends on whether I'm going in a car or taking the bus. If in a car, I just toss everything in. No bags needed except my backpack since I'm gonna put my boots on in the parking lot. If I'm riding the bus, I have a boot bag, my backpack, which I put my helmet, goggles, avy gear, food, and beer in, and my skis and poles without a bag. It's kind of a pain hauling all that stuff up to the lodge, but luckily it's a short walk, and I'd much rather do that than wear my ski boots on the bus 1.5 hours in each direction. It's a lot nicer to throw on some warm slippers at the end of the day.

Makes putting my boots on in the cold morning much more enjoyable. Also has lots of storage for extra gloves, goggles, base layers, etc.

i normally just wear as much as possible between my house and car, and carry the rest and toss smaller things in my backpack.

for trips i have a larger duffle bag, armada anchorage ski bag, and a backpack with my boots strapped to it (i could get everything minus boots into the ski bag, but then its over airline weight limits. for some reason its cheaper to have two slightly lighter bags than one heavy one)
