Salomon NFX vs Armada AR7

i'm looking at the Salomon NFX VS Armada AR7 i have a few questions on which ski is softer which is lighter and what is more durable? i ski 80% park and 20% all mountain and i cannot decide between the 2

east or west coast? (I'll assume east for now) The ar7 hasn't changed in years, its a tried and true ripper, the nfx on the other hand is a brand new ski, odds are more people will get behind the ar7, and normally so would I. This year salomon killed it with this ski, it can definitely take a beating, and it rips corduroy. I'd go with salomon on this one for a change

i am east cost and thanks for the input but do you know if there is a big weight difference?

I don't know about the ar7, but I'm the NFX now, and had suspects before. The swing weight on the NFX feel really low, and overall they feel pretty light. I don't have any numbers though so it might just be my impression.

The NFX is super stiff, like one of the stiffest park skis I've hand-flexed. If you're looking for a soft flex I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

The NFx will be slightly lighter overall but it will be close weight wise. The NFx will be stiffer underfoot and stiffer in the tip and tail but it has so much pop. As long as your skiing features hard and fast you will love them. But they are a serious park ski. Your not going to enjoy slower jibs and hike parks as muc on the NFx but that is not what it was built for.

I'm going to be doing a full review in them as soon as we have some snow here.

got to see them in the shop the other day and I was really impressed with the ski overall. Definitely a stiff ski but the flex (if you like stiffer skis) will still let you get some butters down with some effort. They just felt overall like a better built ski than the suspects too. I would say that the tech into them at that price and with that build Will probably be top contender for stiff skis.

Just met up with the northeast Salomon rep and he talked me into the NFX. The durability is supposedly outstanding and they're supposedly decently stiff for their weight. Pretty cool how they're made in Salomon's separate LAB factory which usually makes only their high end race gear. Supposedly the pulse pads will reduce chatter too so I'm stoked to get mine. At a $500 price tag there's No Fucking Excuses to not get these.
