gnarballsianmI feel like black iridium is a new thing, I grew up always wanting fire iridium crowbars and all the good pros used to wear um. Today we see more big lens style with the dark lens color. The black iridium is to damn dark, if you ski anywhere near the NW you would never want that because it multiplies the flat light affect by 10, its so terrible. I suggest fire iridium over the other.
If you look at Oakleys comparison chart, Fire Iridium is a much darker lense than black. Black irridum transmits 18% of the light, Fire only transmits 10%
You should pick you r lense based on the conditions, not the color of your jacket.
