Pole Size?

Hi there.
I am 5' 6.75", just under 5' 7" and was wondering if anyone near my height has recommendations for a pole size. 115 cm or 120 cm (I am worried the 120 cm will be a little too big)?

PS: I am an intermediate skier that goes a moderate speed, carving mostly

take a tape measure and measure how long it is from your hand to the ground when you hold your shoulder straight down and have your elbow at a 90 degree angle so your forearm is sticking straight ahead of you

that's a good starting point, and from there add or subtract based on your preferences/riding style

120cm is your best Pole size.

You have to use this formula:

Your height in cm (172) x 0.7

My pole is a five incher. But if we're talking ski poles, you hold the pole by the bottom, under the basket and if it touches the ground with your arm at a 90 degree angle, your good!

just start with a big cheap pair of poles. then cut them to whatever fucking size you want....since you are in the park really doesn't matter if they are 10 inches or 40........ 40 might look fucked tho
