SVmikeTRY IT ON! Your foot is not the same as mine.
ChubbyBoyman I should just have this copied so I don't have to write it everyday on gear talk.
Boots are the most fundamental piece of equipment. Bad boots=bad skiing. Just because you see your favourite pro riding a certain boot doesn't mean it will suit your foot. Go to a boot fitter and they will look at your foot, ankle, degree of angle, weight, height, skiing ability, type of skiing and any other variables and they will select the correct boot for you. Full Tilts are great if you they fit your feet, but so are any other boots. While you're at, get foot beds to allow your feet sit better in the boots and you should be fine.

amieastcoastyetGo to your shop and try every single one on.
Personally i hated full tilt even though i wanted a pair for the longest time. They felt like a boot on my foot. You dont have to get what everyone else is rocking. I ended up getting the nordica one star because it fit my foot they best. My opinion on the matter. Like everyone else said go to your local shop try everything and anything on and see what you like the best. I dont know your financial situation so i cant say get them custom fitted but for me (being broke, not rich ) i just use the super feet as a custom insole. They work great and you can ski all day with no problem.
Good luck
WE SHOULD MAKE THIS THREAD INTO A STICKY IF THATS POSSIBLE
