TheClashwell now that i'm in this situation, any ideas on how to make it more comfortable? layer up with more socks?, a cushion? ect..?
JibbaTheHutthow much pressure have you got? if you are really jammed up against the front you may be in a boot too small for you.
If it is not huge amounts of pressure but enough to be uncomfortable, a footbed should help. It will make sure your foot is sat right in the back of the boot and also prevent any spreading of the foot by supporting the arch, therefore stopping it collapsing. Superfeet are fine as off the shelf footbeds but due to the fact they are pre shaped it is unlikely you'll get a perfect fir to your foot, for this you'd need a full custom footbed, something you'll only get if you go to a boot fitter.
As mention before, shell check yourself in the boot, take the liner out and put your toes just about to the front of the boot, there should be just under 1 inch between your heel and the back of the shell. if there is much less than an inch again you might be a boot that is too small.
Craig114Most boot fitters will have you pull the liner out and place your food into the boot. With your toes touching the front of the boot (not pressed into it, just touching) the general rule is that you should be able to put two fingers between your heel and the heel of the boot.
