Id try a different feature like the down tube or something like that. The dfd is the hardest rail setup rn besides the C rail

I'll be with the freestyle boot camp so I'll have plenty of people to encourage me. Tbh my rail game has been weak lately

Yes I did. I was hitting down rails and the propane tank. It's not much but it was good for me.

Btw just because I didn't hit that rail the first day doesn't mean I can't do them .

I like it because it was one of the least sticky rails all weekend. But he's right, it's the hardest rail in the park, especially because it's more of a down-up-down right now. Have you hit any other dfd's before?

I was about to say that, the one that is out is much shorter than a proper kink, which means the kinks happen very fast and can feel a bit violent. If you do decide to go for it, it's pretty easy to bail out at the flat section so unless you get terribly bucked that's the worst that usually happens.

I decided to sack up and send a nose butter 4 on at mad river today, got super lucky or something and laced up a nose but 4 front 2 first hit. I think I'll keep skiing here haha, so much better than bw

They used to offer something called the ohio pass which was basically that, but they stopped doing it because I was one of like 5 people who would buy it. Of fucking course they bring it back when I have no use for it.

No, this is like the official season pass. This isn't a new type of pass. Probably gonna be like $400 or something insane

Well the other issue is people have for years now been telling me hey have to close by mid march because of insurance. Starting to believe that, I can remember so many years when they had so much snow mid March and still closed

We skied on April 1 last year. I think they'll go late again this year unless the weather really turns warm in March.

Why would insurance rates go up? Injuries are 100% at fault of the customer. Maybe because the lodge is used thats all I can think of.

Their insurance is pretty weird sometimes. For example, I know for a fact that mad river is not allowed to build closeout rails thanks to insurance

Doesn't matter, I'll be at mad river for the next couple weeks anyways. i have really been digging their Setup. They have a fat tube that is just amazing. Gonna attempt a nose butter 6 onto i tomorrow /claim

The pass prices stayed at $320. They also added on some $10 insurance thingy that says it will move unused stuff to the next season which makes no sense since you would be buying a pass the next season anyway

To use you as an example Fish....the insurance allows you to get your money back/or credit if you can't use your pass. You broke yourself right at the start of the season. If you could've skied again this year, the insurance allows you to aply your unused pass balance (how much that would be, would depend on how late or early in the season it was) to next years pass when you are healed and go to ski again. In the past, if you got hurt, they would oftentimes do this for you anyway. But you had to write a letter and jump through a few hoops to get it done. 10 bucks might be a good investment to protect your pass investment.

So would I get like $100 off my pass for the next year or something then? Im gonna get 15 days on my pass by the end of the year so i dont think i would qualify anyway since the pass would be down to $20 per day

Right, it gets prorated for how many days are left in the season. But it probably only works if you miss the entire rest of the season.

It's not skiing related. I have an infection somewhere around my spine. I was in the hospital for 4 days. Now I have an iv in my arm so I can take medicine every 8 hours for the next 21 days.
