The.FishI have absolutely no idea why they are building quite possibly the tallest whale in the history of the state of ohio. They are literally building a park on that trail right now. 22’ quarterpipe? Lmao
That jump looks clean af, are snow trails features usually legit? Never been there

The lips are usually pretty short which is odd, but there will be kids throwing cork 7s and stuff a lot. This place is next to Ohio Dreams rip :( . Their rails are usually amazing. The big build is going down right now. They have a dfd and s rail that are like 40 ft. They built a quad kink over the summer. They have like 4-5 of those staple looking rails with no skirting.
They almost always have a fat tube somewhere. Its a very legit park except once they do their big build, they don’t really update it except for when things melt out which sucks for locals. They also build their rail lips really high and have some pop to them, so you gotta learn to compensate for it after skiing bmbw’s parks with the flattest lips on the planet.
They also have a lot of contests. They always do a big air and recently started doing a slopestyle comp. They used to have some rails jams but I wasn’t around last season so idk if they got axed.
Just look at their park instagram, not updated a lot but they post a lot of clips sometimes

Word, I'm gonna get down there this season I think so I'll be able to check em out. Thanks!
iRide1080sDisclaimer: none of these pictures are mine.
Nice lines from yesterday and today apparently.
I get staffing issues and all that, but having just one of the two hills open at any given time is such bullshit. Not gonna lie, I think BMBW may have lost me as a passholder if I'm still in the area next year. It's just been an absolute disaster.
damn I just re-read this whole thread and I feel like I need a drink now lmao.
We didn't even know how good we had it under peak. Sure, it was never great. But it was so much better than this dumpster fire since vail took over. I won't be buying a pass again, vail has finally chased me out of my own backyard. I would rather drive the hour to snow trails than 5 minutes to bmbw
Yeah, this year was depressingly bad for BMBW. I think this is the first year I haven't skiied there even though it's my home park. Hopefully the discounted tickets and night skiing will be back next year, but I still might just keep going to Snow Trails since they actually seem to give a shit about their skiers. I'd hate to see them get bought out by Vail too

Snow trails will never get bought out. Vail is driving them to record sales, it is pretty funny.
Drove by last night and they had all the guns on at BW. Snow trails already open for a week yet still no date set for BrandyVail…
I’m still pissed they got rid of college night & being open till like 1:30a. I feel like all my best memories of BW were after 10:00pm. BW sucks as a mountain but it’s hella fun when the whole place is a giant bar with the same hours.
let’s all pitch in and buy out Alpine Valley and turn it into a family unfriendly skiing experience, like a DIY skatepark with no rules or management. Charge just enough to make snow and keep the lifts/lights on.
Brandywine may be done for a while. They lost power for a bit in the early phase of the storm, so the entire snowmaking system appears to be frozen. They haven't ran guns there in like almost two days and its the best cold snap they may have the entire season. If true, the damage may be very bad. I hope that isn't true because there is no way they will refund passes to people since they will have mills.

RparrWeather prediction for december looks better than the past 5 years imo. Maybe we won't get completely fucked this year
hopefully. i was looking at old photos with my parents, from around 2004-2008, and every winter there was consistantly snow on the ground in all of the photos. I also live on the west side. I wonder if its strictly global warming thats causing the change or if some of it is just natural weather patterns

I didnt buy a pass for the first year in a decade as a result of getting teased with snow in early December followed by 40 and rain till March. As a result my guess is there will be record consistent snowfall and BW will have great jump line of poppy step-overs and multiple top to bottom rail lines.
Well, currently you’re winning. As usual, every non vail resort around is open with a ton of coverage. While BMBW struggle to blow a little pile of crap. And haven’t even ordered any food or beverage for the lodge yet. Same 💩, different year.

Not having any food or drinks in the lodge is insane. Nobody at vail gives a flying fuck about anything. I’d blame it on corporate greed if the lodge was selling chicken tendies for $28 but not even opening up the food court at all is beyond that. Imagine how shit the corporate culture must be at vail management for them to not even care enough to do even the most basic functions of operating a business. It’s like if an entire company was ran by braindead long term coma patients on life support.
They rebuilt the boston mills bar deck and it wasn't completed until a couple days before they opened lmao. Place will never change.
What is really dramatic to me is the difference in snowmaking output between snow trails / Perfect north vs BMBW. Sure, trails has colder temps. But perfect north has warmer temps than us and they manage to make so much more snow year after year
Abu_HajaarAre we looking to have a good season this year? This cold weather so early in the year has me pretty excited
Ive never seen this thread, but bmbw is currently firing mills has a build Tuesday and wine has a park and is getting additions wedsnday. was pretty cool to scroll through this and see the stuff from 10 years ago.
