The.FishThe northern midwest also has a huge park scene. Everybody around us, mad river, bmbw, pknpk, all sort of died. The only resort that still has an amazing park scene is Seven Springs. Pknpk is the best out of the dead people listed but they don't build nearly as much stuff as they used to. If i recall correctly, Brandywine didn't even have a line for a chair on opening day last year which was sad. I miss the gold old days (even just a few years ago) where lift lines were 15 minutes and everybody was just hyped to be out there. Then again, I was a jerry back then and didn't know a fraction of what I know about skiing right now.

RparrIt's too bad springs is around 90$/day during most of the season
iRide1080sYour best bet in the Cleveland area is probably Geiger's at their Chagrin Falls location.
The.FishWell atleast they hooked us up with a free day
SkierFromOhioThats cool. How did you guys get free tickets?

SkierGuyNickuggh if this is true idk what ill be doing then
SkierFromOhioI was accepted to liberty yesterday. Could be skiing snowflex next year
The.Fishdo not go to liberty for the snowflex lol. That may be the worst reason to pick a college
RparrNot sure how much you know about Liberty, but that place is a serious nuthouse. I've been there 3 times now. They are so incredibly religious that it is off putting for me to even be there. My friend broke his arm quite badly there 2 years ago, and he was cursing like a sailor when he went down. They told him that he'd have to get his own help and find his way to the hospital on his own because "this is a christian establishment and we don't tolerate such language here". Another year I was there, it was about 90 degrees out on the slope, and they threatened to kick me out because I took my shirt off for about a minute to try and cool down. That's explicitly forbidden there too.
I have nothing against religion, but they're a little nutty there. Look up their famous student code of conduct called "The Liberty Way" if you want better examples. All sorts of ridiculous rules, and you get fined monetarily if you break them. It's a very strange school, don't go there just for the skiing. The snowflex loses it's luster pretty quickly anyways, I've had enough of it after 3 summer trips down there

SkierFromOhioI'm a little worried about the whole religion thing. I went to a Catholic School through 6th grade and it was a bit crazy
The.Fishi love being catholic but I don’t think that I would want to go to a school that is intense with enforcing religion.
SkierFromOhioI agree. As a Catholic I believe in letting people do their own thing. A lot of Catholics seem to really push and enforce religion on others
SkierGuyNickany snow making or anything going yet?
SkierFromOhioWhen did they get hkd snowmakers?
Mt.AssBump. Vail gonna try to fuck us over most likely
The.FishThey already laid off 90% of their entire marketing staff this off season
Mt.AssNot sure where you stand on all the virus protocols but I wish they’d just let people fucking go skiing. It’s literally one of the only outdoor activities where 99% percent of people already wear a face mask, have almost no skin exposed, and it’s usually windy to keep the air flowing. Plus most people who go skiing are not at all in any sort of high risk category. Fuck Vail. Are there any independent ski hills left in Ohio?
BagOTricksGonna be at BMBW mostly this season after spending most my life as a Peek'n Peak local... Peak's park situation is going to be terrible this year due to COVID layoffs and such, plus the 2 hour drive blows so decided on BMBW. BMBW's park page going silent on social media seems like a bad omen though... Always wanted to get down to Snow Trails so hoping to get a few weekend days in there. Any locals who wanna ride/film this season lemme know!
SkierPTAnyone ski Snow Trails yet? Is the starter park setup worth a day ticket ?
The.FishI wouldn't waste your time until they do a rebuild. It was pretty underwhelming, but snow is snow at this point.
Abu_Hajaar9:30 is way to early to close. All my best memories at BMBW were after 10pm
The.Fishholy crap this thread is alive bwaahahah
GordmanFactual. 5 on the weekends is crazy
Abu_HajaarMy local BMV has better hours than Bmbw.
The.FishI know i keep saying this but snow trails is totally worth the extra drive. 100% open right now and the jump line and advanced park will be open by next weekend.
