pmcon_20Mistimed are a totally different set I wouldn't worry about that.
RparrThe second jump was actually clearable today for the first time. It was nice
The.Fishis it poppy? and how big is it? I may just try to learn 360s on that one.
The.Fishhttps://www.newschoolers.com/videos/watch/857681/360-fail here is a video of my current state.
RparrDo you ever ski with poles? If so try poleplanting your jumps. I do it for every spin I throw above 180 and it really sets me up for a smooth rotation
RparrIf I had to guess I'd say it's at least 30 ft to the sweet spot. It was really nice by bw's standards. I just don't know if it survived the rain yesterday
The.FishNew park build today apparently. Not going skiing today i guess
The.FishApparently there is a rumor going around that josh is leaving after this year. I am gonna be so excited for when that day comes.
RparrThat would be absolutely miraculous
I may have herniated myself in the rail jam yesterday, it's not feeling good today.
The.FishWent to holiday valley for the weekend. I can hit every single rail there now. My confidence for brandywine is super high so im gonna try a bunch of rails there now.

BorchmoreSo are we just not getting winter this year? I've been waiting for a Friday with some snow on the ground to head up to BMBW, but it's just been rainy as shit for the last couple weeks. Is it even worth shelling out $30 for a night pass, or should I just stay home and play Final Fantasy? Also, how's Peek n Peak looking?
The.FishI am going nuts now. I can hit the down up down bar and the really high down shotgun. Im gonna try the dfd tube once the slush comes. It was a little too icy to risk it.
RparrThat thing will buck you to space but it's a right of passage haha. Turns out I don't have a hernia, so I'll be out every day since apparently this is the last weekend of the season possibly
The.FishCome tomorrow because I need some peer pressure for the hand rail from the rail jam. I am only doing it for the credit since that thing is super high.

RparrI'll be there at opening
The.FishMan i love how my dad leads me on that i can get a snow trails pass but then decided to go off on me how its a stupid idea. Looks like im stuck at bmbw. Screw the rest of this season its gonna be so bad.
RparrWait you mean they're not letting you go to snow trails? After buying a pass, that's dumb as fuck lol
The.FishI am probably gonna go again today because it isn't gonna get cold enough for snowmaking till like 10pm
SkierGuyNickHey guys I am new to the Cleveland area. I have skied at Peekn Peak for the last few years and their parks are really really good. Its a two hour drive and I was thinking about splitting my time between Peek and Boston Mills.Just had a few questions.
Are both mountains good? When you get a pass can you go to both? Are there cheap college ski days ever? How are the parks overall?
Thanks!
RparrWelcome! So if you're used to peek n peak, the parks here will be a step down for sure. There are times when our park is actually pretty nice, but those times are less often that up at Peek n Peak because our weather is shittier for winter, our park crew is much smaller/not as serious as Peek n Peak's, and most of all, our management is notorious for being douchebags. I won't go into it now, but the short of it is that the owner of the chain 'Peak Resorts', which owns dozens of ski resorts (but oddly enough, not Peek n Peak lol) put his son in charge of bmbw, and now the son is the typical guy-who-can-do-no-wrong. A classic case of nepotism. He's really been a bad gm for bmbw, and specifically the park scene here. If you read this thread chronologically, you'll see many of us really don't like the gm.
That said, we still manage to have fun here, and if you live close, its still worth skiing at bmbw. The two facilities are 2 miles away from eachother, and the pass is good at both. Both locations have very similar terrain, but brandywine is where the good park is. They tend not to build a park at boston mills. You'll likely have to make a couple trips if you're itching for bigger/better features.
SkierGuyNickThanks man. Do they ever do student night passes or anything cheap like that?
RparrThey definitely do, usually Friday or Saturday nights. They're also usually very crowded nights

SkierGuyNickThinking i will take advantage of the cheap nights and get a one night a week pass for Peek. Thanks man
The.FishDidn't bmbw stop doing college nights? that was why the parking lot was dead on friday and saturday nights.
SkierGuyNickuggh if this is true idk what ill be doing then
SkierFromOhioAnyone know if buckeye sports is a good place to get boots fitted? I really need some decent fitting boots this season

SkierFromOhioBmbw needs to try as hard as some of these other places. Troll has one night or two of snow making and they're setting up a hike park. Bmbw takes like 2 weeks.
SkierGuyNickany good boot-fitters in Cleveland?
