Replying to Something different for an edit
I know some people grow tired of always seeing follow cam and tripod shots in edits and quite often POV shots can look awful too.
I had an idea to make POV more realistic by trying to create more of an image like actuallly looking through a persons eyes. So record as usual with a POV cam on a fish eye setting with good sound (external audio recorder) quality. Crop to a more circular image and duplicate and split screen play side by side to create an eye effect. This could maybe be made even better by using 2 cameras side by side to create a wider angle.
Just an idea, I thought it would looks sick for urban shots at night on a gnarly rail because you could add quick blinks perhaps. I'm not quite advanced enough in my editing skills to make it happen and wont be on snow for a while but maybe someone could try it?
