ok to clarify, Loon is not ghetto. I dont care how you look at it but its just not. What I mean by ghetto is how they use their resources to try to benefit the mountain. If anyone here has been to whaleback it is a PRIME example of what I am talking about and I haven't been to anything as ghetto since.

I live in a very white part of New hampshire so I never see any of those fabled black skiers out there, but if you have a mountain thats loaded with gat-carrying thugs, speak up

and no hate to whaleback cuz they may be ghetto as fuck, but I love their rails

Shit. Just bought my season pass to Mountain Creek this year.. Some features are great but some are waiting for someone to come along and die on.

As said before, whatever isn't nailed down gets stolen, and everything is made of a solid block of ice. Even pow days wind up being 4 inches of crud under an inch of ice... It's one hell of an upgrade from Tuxedo Ridge/Mount peter/ or Camelbak though. Lots of city people simply because its pretty damn close to the city. Especially the jean clad overly tough black dudes with his girl or trashy white boarders who don't realize they aren't in the city anymore. Lift lines can either be a place to watch your own feet or to actually talk to people, it can go either way. Its honestly a great place for earbuds though.

Like the kids who show up in their audis with the giant grenade sticker in the back corner of the windshield, blasting their techno or edm from the club last night? Then they proceed to be as obnoxious as possible to impress their girlfriends who are attempting to snowboard with them? And the cliff drop thing they always build and put a fence around it? If you've ever wanted to drop a cliff to solid ice, then yeah, hit it.

They do advertise super hard to the nyc crowd though. If you go on the site and look for directions, they mention how close it is to nyc a hundred times before they even say anything about jersey. I wonder if you live in nyc, if you see tv commercials for it.

literally in my opinion big boulder is probably in the top 5 parks on the east coast.But Mountain creek would be the most ghetto. Features are the most janky, if you don't lock up your skis/poles they get stolen, I smoked a blunt with one of the parking lot attendants, and theres so many snowboarders that just ruin the landings of every feature. Park crew can't even do anything about it.
