What have you done/what has happened to you? The more you've hidden it away, the more money your parents spent on therapy to help you work through it, the more permanent damage it has caused you the better.
I fell down the stairs in my ski boots at jore and spilled all my food. Had no money left for more food, most likely cried.
My sister had the album for the coyote ugly movie. I was digging on that "can't fight the moonlight" song and stole it from my sister and rocked if for a couple weeks and chucked it in the on cd walkman when I was 11 or 12. Shredding the groomers in style yo. Fuck the haters.
Got on the ski bus and somebody had lost my permission slip or something and I couldn't go. Had all my gear on and had to get off the bus and not go skiing. Definitely crying there.
Last season when I tried to 50/50 a box in the morning and stuck to it, ejected and frontflipped off the end. Gaper status ;)
Lost my ski in the mud when I didn't quite make it across the pond skim. Looked for it unsuccessfully while getting sprayed in the face for about a half hour.
However, I met a super awesome one legged skier dude while skiing down (who was also on one ski), which tied up the vibes and made it all gravyy
On top of a super sketchy zone with a bunch of friends at Crystal, I was last to hit the cliff we were all boosting, my din was to low, took a hop turn into my take off and my downhill ski popped right off and went down the chute to my friends below and I had to sled down on my ass through a chute with only one ski and zero dignity left.
Doing a little filming for fun with a friend a couple of seasons ago and I was hitting this little tree tap feature in Stevens Pass bc and the snow was much to sticky at the take off and long story short I face planted off a tree.
First time skiing a black diamond run, mad cool I know. I decided to sit down at the top where it was steep and proceeded to ass slide down the entire face.
Well as of about an hour ago I slammed my tailbone on my backyard rail setup so hard my ass hasn't stopped shaking. I feel like a white girl at a rave.
TwinipzWhen I was a little gapper, I went on my first ski trip. It was the first day of a 3 day trip to Killington. I was so excited, my friend took me to the first real mountain I had ever been to. I was beyond stoaked. One of the first things we went to was their park. Coming from my home mountain, the ram's head park was absolute heaven for me. 6 min park laps, 10 min lift ride, I was so happy and so full of stoak that I was in that mood of doing whatever.
Came down to a spine jib at the bottom of the park. Second run. Never got a good look at it.
I kid you not, I hit this motherfucker at mach 5 and next thing I know i'm 15 feet in the air staring down at the ground thinking "oh, that's funny". Next thing I feel is my heel exploding and the ground punching me in the face. This is what it looked like:
I had fucked up...
So yea, 2nd run, first day of a 3 day trip and I now had a heel I couldn't use. I still skied, but it was nowhere near as fun as using both feet to ski. I was so bummed. Still had a good time with my friend, we just rocked mellow trails.
And that's why I always scope features out before hitting them.
Accidentally kicked a guys ski off on the chairlift. His brakes did not deploy. Found his ski beat to shit under a car in the parking lot an hour later.
last winter in february i was learning cork 3s and listening to 36 chambers on my new phone from christmas (at night). the music stopped so i thought "hey, i guess the album ended, ill turn my music on again later". about 10 minutes later i went to my inside pocket to turn on some more tunes. to my dismay, i saw the headphone jack chillin alone in the pocket :(. i had deleted find my iphone for more space (IDIOT), so i searched under the chairlift and retraced my footsteps. i didnt want to ruin my day searching for my phone which i had a very bad chance of finding, so i kept shredding. from now ill always check my pocket if my music stops or use an ipod shuffle steve stepp style smh.
Mogul team was practicing on the main trail. Later in the day they took all the fencing down and left the moguls there. I forgot about them and came down the trail switch. I thought I was so cool doing the switch in front of everyone on the chairlift, until I hit the moguls. I managed to make it through most of them until the last one which sent me into a backwards tomahawk while the everyone watched. Ended up ejecting from both skis, dropped both poles and my headphones flew off. I felt like an ass having to walk all over the trail in front of everyone picking up my gear.
I think it's safe to say I've wrecked so hard I've peed myself at least 5 times.
Teaching a class on the bunny hill, go to get off the chair and my pants are stuck on the lift. I accidentally push both my kids face first into the snow and I ended up ripping the entire ass out of my pants. I don't usually wear anything besides underwear under my ski pants. It was sufficiently terrible.
Dropped my favorite bowl off the lift once.
For spring skiing we all went shirtless (I was wearing a bra or sports bra or something though) and I fell hard. Tits got all wet and my bra froze to my boob. To this day there's still a spot I can't feel on one. That was so fucking awful.
countless times ive ate shit as a little kid with a tray full of food, and scarring memories to go along with it.
worst moments skiing was i tried to 180 onto this snow drift and switch 180 off of it back onto the cattrack, i got the one around, caught an edge and fell off of the drift right to my hip, i could barely stand up and lots of people laughed at me :(
oh, and getting a concussion in one of the greenhorn parks at PC didn't help my self-esteem either.
