Replying to Why urban?

What is it about urban that has been drawing more and more skiers? Is it...


- Simply that, we want to ski where ever possible because we love it?

- Expressing creative skiing into an almost unending range of possibilities?

- Or how about the pure difficulty and challenge of getting the shot dialed?

- It's free? (-expenses)


I know the obvious answer is, "if you have to ask, then you don't know." But honestly, what do you think? urban is nothing new, however it's been growing and growing and that's fucking awesome. I mean, it's in every ski movie I've bought in the last few yrs. Urban has elevated into a genre all it's own, reinforcing the freeskiing dynamic taking us in all directions, letting us express skiing however the fuck we want. Thinking about that shit gets me stoked on our sport!

So, what drives you guys to go out there and sesh for 1 to 2 hours on urban?
