I have a pair of K2 Extremes that I went to get center mounted at a local ski shop. I got them back today, and they don't look center mounted to me... It looks as if they are still set back from the center... What do I do? I asked them about it immediately and they said they were... Anybody ever had this happen? How to figure out for sure if they are center mounted?
flip one ski over and the toe piece of the binding should touch the heel piece of the other or put your boot in and measure where the boot centreline is then measure your ski and the boot centreline length should be half the length of the ski.
** if your doing the second method actually measure the ski because a lot off manufactuers measure differently than how you might like K2 seems to be longer than the actual measurement
