Scullcandy ad. Really?

With every page click something that I have to x out?

I understand you guys are trying to make money off ads, I haven't been one of those guys using ad blockers but jesus. Maybe I just don't like ads but stuff like that seems like the kind of thing to drive people away or at least get them rolling with an ad blocker. I can understand once, sweet scullcandy doing some promo that I don't care about great, but nobody wants to spend more than 30 seconds clicking around the site if they're going to have to click out of ads each page load.

Not trying to be a dick, like I said I don't use an adblocker. Ads are fine but there's a line of too much or being overly annoying.

Yeah. Again. Another thread whining about ads without actually explaining your problem. If it's pissing you off, there might actually be a problem. I haven't seen a single skullcandy ad in the last 12 hours. Maybe explain what's happening so the staff can fix what's potentially wrong.

Yes, please more information!

Ads target differently for all the various regions in the world. So you might be seeing something that nobody else (including me) has targeted to them.

Screen shot is helpful and then we can assess from there.

Its all good i was just mad that i couldnt scroll plus that.

Was a scullcandy drop in contestbat the bottom of ky screen each page load. A click out one. Even gave up and entered in case jtd make it stop bu no luck.

All good though

My REI ad does the same thing. It pops out every time I load the home page, exactly like that ^. I was gonna make a thread but it's already here. Then I can't click on half the stuff I want to click.

I'm on chrome, osx 10.6.8 (snow leopard fo lyfe). Screen looks the same as that one above me.

I posted this in another ad thread in SD, but I'm going to post it here too because it seems as though this is the most lively discussion of all things ads:

It (the REI ad) popped up over all my account buttons in the top left of my screen while I was trying to open a PM. I had to click it and then close it to git rid of it.

Whatever that ad is (the Skullcandy one) that pops up at the bottom of the NS window when scrolling forums covered the "Send Message" button in my PM window, too. Had to close that one before I could go forward.

I don't mind looking at ads while I browse NS. Hell, sometimes I'll click on 'em because I know it helps the site. But something about the ads interfering with my browsing just really bothers me.
