Replying to You guys will think im crazy...

so i got a pair of trashed scott p4s for 50 bucks. they were in pretty bad shape. so the topsheet of plastic was ripped off halfway of the right ski and about a quarter of the left ski. so i decedide to take the top layer of plastic off. im now going to paint them, and then have about 4 layers of protective/clear coat to make a water tight barrier to keep the water out. so i have new topsheets and new graphics.. was this a good idea? keep in mind this is my backyard rail/ preseason-postseason pow setup sooo
