Wallisch doesnt feel right...

Now I'm sure we all know by now that Line's newest member is Tom Wallisch, but when I saw his most recent clips on his Chronics, they added the Line spray paint clip.. After seeing this I thought about him on the Traveling Circus, and it doesn't feel right. What are your thoughts about this?

This, I've followed Eric for years. I had never heard of TC before I joined here. TC does not make me want to buy Line, Watching Pollard does.

Line have made an epic marketing decision to bring on Tom, getting another part of your groups product line out into the media via his comp skiing makes so much sense as he is already with Full Tilt, I doubt an eventual TW pro model is going to harm Line in anyway...

it is kinda weird, walnuts is a pretty big competitor but no one on the line team seems to compete at any big comps. I still think we'll see how it goes and it seems like it'll be pretty sick!

niebskiAlso, how awesome would it be now seeing Line skis represented in competitions. I'm talking about competitions that are aired on TV like X-games, dew tour,... The closest we get to seeing that is probably LJ slaying in Rails to Riches. You never see any pros in those comps aired on TV riding Line skis, it's always the bigger name ski companies. Stoked to see Line get some more love with Tom joining the team!


There was a chick at the olympics on stepups... Forget her name...

this is like if sage kotsenburg joined thirtytwo and wears their boots and outerwear in xgames and everybodys gonna be like what the fuck is this why is he on thirtytwo. no one gives a flying fuck who rides what skis and besides tom would be a nice adition to tc.

unfortunately there are many people who care greatly about what skis tom rides, enough so to buy them for no other reason. This is why he has been brought onto the line team, he's the lebron james of skiing...

"I love you tom! I love you tom!" Its just one man who is a pretty damn good skier, why do we have to blow this out of proportion and make this stuff such a big deal. Just let the future pan itself out instead of criticizing things that haven't panned out yet.

I think line is a great fit for Tom Wallisch. He's in a great spot, but I still think he has some work ahead of him. I feel like he's been over branded to a degree and needs to carve out his own space a bit more. Lines a good incubator if you consider how Pollard has done there.
