These are the second generation, black and gold with the gangster chain. I skied them for a total of 5 1/2 seasons. The current liner is a replacement and has less than two seasons on it. It's only been heat molded once and is not blown out. These things are tanks! I would have just done a little maintenance on them but i upgraded last winter to a stiffer boot for more big mountain performance. They are super comfortable and still perform great for park riding.
So:
Liner's are in good shape. +
Modified cuff buckle instead of the stupid ratchet strap. +
Toe is worn a bit, but had no effect on binding contact. -
There is a small crack in one of the shells, see pic. -
