zzzskizzzDidn't click the link, don't give a shit you are wrong. The flavourings chemicals have carcinogens in them.
daOysterSomeone earlier posted that nicotine is a carcinogen. Nicotine by itself isn't at all. The flavorings could potentially be carcinogenic, however most flavorings aren't just for vaping and the same chemicals can be found in other products you consume. Also inhaling water vapor into your lungs doesn't interfere with breathing that much except for the fact displacing a low amount of air with water vapor. Finally, e-cigs don't produce water vapor. They either produce vegetable glycerin vapor, propelyen glycol vapor, or a combo of both. Either of them have been approved for consumption in humans at the dosage you would receive from an e-cig.
TL;DR:
-Some flavorings could be carcinogenic, but the same chemicals can be found in other artificially flavored goods.
-Breathing water vapor is no more harmful than breathing in less-dense air.
-E-Cigs don't produce water vapor, they make veg. glycerin vapor, propylene glycol vapor, or a mix of both.
In the end e-cigs can almost certainly be said to be substantially safer than cigarettes.
*Frankie*i fucking hate people like you
daOysterOh boy it contains some carcinogens. Guess what, many of the things you eat and drink contain them too. Do you eat red meat and like to cook it on a grill? You just consumed some carcinogens caused by cooking that meat at a high temp. You just drank some soda? Guess what, you most likely just consumed a few carcinogenic chemicals. Many artificial flavor additives contain chemicals that can be carcinogenic. Flavoring additives in any domain aren't regulated much and most are assigned an arbitrary value of how much can safely be consumed.
While I'm at it, just because something is labeled as carcinogenic, doesn't mean your going to get cancer from it. Carcinogens can range from anything that is proven to cause cancer to something anticipated to cause cancer without any data depending on who's classification system you use.
zzzskizzzDid you even read what you just posted? That's great you posted one paragraph from something that's not even a medical case study. ecigs have carcinogens in them if you think they're a hundred percent healthy, you're a fucking moron. It's also been shown that people who smoke ecigs don't quit, because it's still addictive. Is it safer than a cigarette? Probally, is it healthy no.
You should probably look at who's running the study and where the money is coming from as well.............
daOysterWell I've be so caught up in the discussion with zzzskierzzz that I forgot to post my setup. Currently on a kanger evod vv 1000mah and a kange aero tank mini. The thing is a lengthy motherfucker but that doesn't bother me at all.

FriedRicei be runnin a k100 with a trident rda at a .3ohm dual coil. and they said i couldnt drown my own lungs with formaldehyde...
JakeSalvadorbut look out for the ingredients because some cheap liquids contain water mainly water (found in gas stations etc.) . what you want is PG or VG
Lé.SkiingPG generally is for better flavor(sometimes can back more of a throat hit) and VG is more for bigger vape. I use a good 70/30 (PG/VG)mix.
My current setup is Mutation V2 Clone and Panzer Clone mod case. My coils are wrapped at about 0.84-0.85 each which gives me a combined total of 0.4 Ohms. It's pretty much a handheld fog machine.
I don't plan on cloud chasing for long just enough that I can talk about it and know what I'm talking about. I can fill my lungs with decent vape in about 2-3 seconds if I really want. I prefer to take smaller puffs with my vape though to conserve battery life also I'm not that into being the guy that's like "Look at how big of vape I can do!". I just don't think it really needs to be a competition on who can get more vape. Smoking never used to be like that However every now and then I don't mind puffing a huge cloud. I'm just not that into showing my builds off.
Also for the people looking into sub-Ohms make sure you get all the facts down pat first before toying around with builds and stuff. I almost blew up a battery myself but thankfully I managed to get lucky and it didn't explode however I used a battery that wasn't properly rated for the ohms I was wanting to use and almost went boom.
Planning on doing any builds? I recommend IMR batteries and not ICR. IMR are less dangerous than ICR. ICR batteries have more volatile ingredients, so when they go boom, They go BOOM! haha.
If you're going to do any builds check this website out: http://www.steam-engine.org/
Steam-engine is awesome for doing any builds.
My other eCig setup that isn't a mechanical mod is a MVP 2.0 and nautilus tank.
If anyone is looking at getting some stuff for decent prices check out this website: https://unlimitedecigs.com/
If I can suggest anything I would suggest taking a look at the aerotank, Nautilus and the Vamo V5, and Vamo V6.
fghtoffyrdmnsthe new sub ohm tanks like the delta 2, manger subtank and aspire Atlantis are worth looking at. I have both the subtank and the Atlantis, I would recommend the subtank more because it has better flavor. Supposedly the delta 2 is bteer than either of them, and I get that in the mail in the next few days so I'm stoked about that hqha
Lé.SkiingYah, I've read up a bit on them they seem ok. I was kind of excited to try the Kanger Turbo (quad coil). Turns out they are garbage though. The one person I know that got one says that the power distribution sucks in them. He said he was running into the issue that it would only fire on one dual coil at a time. I'm probably going to be getting an Atlantis soon. I have heard some people talking about the subtank. I haven't heard much from people who have used it though. I would be interested in trying more kanger stuff out if they didn't make really crappy stuff. lol
Most common issue I see from kanger are coils that don't always work right out of the package. hahaha
yunglean2002I've been watching reviews on some of the setups you guys run, this setup in particular looks fucking sweet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icovFSYcyEE
I have no idea what I'm doing and just want the right affordable setup that will perform decent and also blow huge clouds when I'm feeling obnoxious.
Can someone recommend something for me please?
fghtoffyrdmnsI have the sigelei 150 watt and the Atlantis I'd recommend it. I also have the sub tank and dig that a lot as well
yunglean2002if anyone has the same questions i just did, refer to this http://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comments/1zqb5l/

Lé.SkiingIf you're looking for liquid I would recommend Unlimited eCigs. It's inexpensive and good quality.
itsbenyoi have a cloupor t5 with the tobh atty v3 as a dripper. thing boosts but cloupor is a shitty brand
ThisCldScareUthere was a new study (poorly done) that has hit the news
omnidataIts not poorly done. Its just not applicable to the real world.
Their research is "valid" in that they showed accurately that running 15 watts through a CE4 releases formaldehyde-hemawhatevers.
Thats all peer review cares about, it's the reporting of the study by journalists where it goes wrong.
