Another ski size thread

I'm about 5'10-5'11, and I'm deciding between 172cm or 177cm Line Afterbangs. I like a shorter ski, but I don't want to get sketchy on big landings. Any input helps!

How much do you weigh and hold d are you? Your weight and strength are bigger factors then your height.

Ok well you could go either way really. What type of features do you hit? If your regularry hitting jumps 40ft plus and larger jibs the 177 will be much better but if your more just riding hike parks or smaller features the 171 could work. If your looking for performance out of the park too 177 will be better.

Personally, I would go with the 177. I am 5'8" and I dont ride anything shorter than a 175 or so, even in the park, and have never felt like I was throwing too much weight around on rails. Also, there is a chance you are still growing, so the 171 might be too short by next season.
