well i have a friend who has a press and makes outerwear and skis. He asked me if I wanted to make a custom pair of skis with him and of course I said yes. It cost me 120$ for the materials and now we need to start designing and then building. I want your input on how to shape my ski. I plan on using them for touring and as my pow stick. I want to be able to use it off backcountry jumps as well. I want it to be close to symetrical. So what sidecut should i have and what rocker/camber and all that good stuff. Is there a ski out there that I should try and base mine off.
So overall any advise for how to shape my ski for my needs thanks

Seems like a great idea but there may not be many people in the Ski Gabber section that would know this kind of stuff. Its a common mistake but if you put this thread in Gear Talk you would probably get more answers.
