WampireMathew Mcconaghey is sooo sick I am very excited to see it. From what I've seen it kind of reminds me of 2001 Space Odyssey which is an incredible movie.

gustavkbThis is one of the few movies of 2014 I am willing to pay a ticket to go see at a cinema
JAHpowFury is totally worth the ticket too
DingoSeanI just want to know what Neil Degrasse Tyson thinks of it.
BoogieWomanFury was a brilliant movie but i found it tough to watch. I went to see it whilst hungover last weekend, not my finest idea.
EVAN.FWormhole scene was so good. One of the most mind bending movies i've ever seen, but has some cheesy moments.
Gonna see it again in imax.
BoogieWomanI saw it in IMAX, awesome but in parts the sound was too loud!
Didn't really find it mind bending though...but the waves scene made me think 'holy fuck'
Am I the only one that thought it was too long? Could have easily skimmed another 30 mins off and it still would have been great.
theBearJewOkay so I just got back from seeing it. First impression, Wow.
The movie was awesome. Actually somewhat believable until certain things happen, then its kind of a stretch. But then again they're traveling through black holes and shit, so that's a stretch in itself. If anything it is worth seeing for the visuals, so incredible.
Now I had some questions/issue with the movie and from here on will be MASSIVE spoilers so stop reading if you don't want to have it spoiled..
Seriously, stop reading if you don't want spoilers...
So first off, when Cooper is at NASA and mentions the gravity thing, they reply saying they have had many of those already. How? It seemed like Cooper was the only one doing that and was only doing it with Murph, so where else did they see them and how did they happen?
When Cooper is in that 4th dimension thing where hes sending gravity to Murph to let her know how to solve shit he starts talking about how HE was them and how there is no they, WE, humans, are they but in the future. He goes on to talk about how somehow in the future we learned to use this 4th dimension and build this crazy thing. Now that is where I don't get it, but I guess thats the conundrum with time travel. If you are saying "Weve done this already in the future" how did we get there in the first place? It would appear that the only way to get to that other habitable planet and save the current human race would be to get them all somewhere new. And the only way to do that is send gravity through this 4th dimension that was built but humans to the current time. Now how could we build something in the future the first time if we needed that to get there in the first place? (If anyone follows that I will be impressed. I feel like it only makes sense in my head).
And finally, at the end when they are showing Brand (Anne Hathawy) on the planet walking back to the new colony, over her left shoulder, right side of the screen is a large blurry dark figure. I have no idea what was going on in that scene other than that because I couldn't stop looking at it hoping it would come into focus. At the beginning it was large and blurry, by the end it became two separate objects, both still very blurry. I am convinced that was Cooper and TARS on the planet headed for her. Did anyone else notice that blurry thing or am I just crazy?
Thought?

theBearJewSo I hopped in reddit to find some answers and posted my questions as well. Found out what may explain these two instances, again spoilers.
From what someone else said the creation of the 4th dimension could have been from the Plan B colony being that they survived regardless of the Plan A (earth) people. They evolved into 5th dimension beings and created the wormhole and that 4th dimension room so that they could save Earth's people.
Now that still raises a question of how did the wormhole get created? The wormhole is necessary for the success of Plan B. So how could they create something that they needed in the first place to survive?
Of which raised another interesting point that I'm just gonna copy and paste. "Maybe time doesn't have a cause and effect - maybe that's just an illusion of the ego. It's very possible that all of time already exists, and there are certain loops that don't have a clear "first" or "last" occurrence of anything. There is no beginning to these loops, but they are essential for time to exist. It's basically a Möbius strip but in the 4th dimension."
Outside of the questions I've had I thought there were some really awesome things they subtlety said and came back to. The first was the thing about evil. Brand had this huge talk about how Evil didn't come with them and its just good people and all that shit. Right when she went on about that I knew something evil was with them and sure enough, Matt Damon.
Also the two things about survival and parents was interesting things I've never thought about. The first was with Matt Damon saying the part about how the last thing a dying parent sees most is their kids. And when Cooper said that once a person becomes a Parent they are just living to be memories of their kids.

SKI.INGYou paid to see it in IMAX, that's what you get in IMAX. Great sound and picture
