Stretched Ears

Just curious about whats your guys' view on stretched ears? Cool, gross? What would you consider to be too big?



How many of you guys stretch your ears? I got my ears pierced at a 10g in April and I'm currently at a 0 and don't plan on going any bigger and they're my only piercings.

Small ones are good looking. Anything larger than the smallest sizes is no good IMO.

When I was 18 my ears were at an inch and a half. I wish I NEVER did that shit. My ears are droopy and unappealing to even myself. I think they're gross for the most part now, along with most piercings.

It really all depends on the person. You can ALWAYS get them sewn up, but its never a guarantee they'll close up.

They will. My supervisor had hers at a 00 and its taken 2 years for her ears to close enough to where she can wear normal studs

-No matter what you hear THEY DON"T GO BACK TO HOW THEY WERE!!!
-You are increasing risk of infection.
-In 10 years you are going to regret it.

I had 0s and i took them out years ago, though id consider stretching them again. they're pretty chyll as long as you don't get them too big.

I'm not too concerned with how people see me. And I 'd have to disagree with you saying it will screw me over professionally. If it is completely necessary for me to take them out to get a job, then I will.(Depending on if I think it's worth it). Most people don't notice them on me either. I don't wear tunnels, only plugs(wood). So most people can't really tell the difference anyways. Also, after your ears have totally healed after a stretch it's like a normal piercing and won't get infected. I respect your opinion and all. I realize a lot of people are against it. I guess I just thought more ns'ers would be cool with it. I was wrong haha.

Smaller ones look good when they are pulled off right.

But I don't want to stare at skin flaps dangling around when I'm having a conversation with someone. Do it tastefully or not at all.

I think 0's look pretty sweet on both guys and girls but it does get gross pretty fast. I saw a guy that I used to talk to last winter and now he stretched his ears to over 2 1/2" and I couldn't look at him. His plugs were dominating his head.

Depends on how big they are. Most of the smaller sizes look fine and once you pull them out your ears will return to normal. Any size that necessitates sewing your lobes back together when you want to get rid of them are gross.

I got mine pierced at a 10 when I was 18. Took them out after a year. 9 years later and I still have a hole in my ear. It's pretty much the same size as a gun piercing.

and I can still put little girl earrings in.



So....I mean.....it's not all bad.

A guy I was seeing had had one of his get ripped out when he had an accident. So the doctors had to sew his ear lobe back together. Blech. He can't really take them out now because his ear looks so funky without it.

I had 1/2 inches for about a year. Theyre definitely intriguing when you have them, and sets you apart, but I promise as soon as you take them out, you'll think "why the fuck did I ever have those." Atleast those were my thoughts.

i wouldn't do it myself, i think it makes people look a little dirty. my sisters are over an inch and a half

but if you're gonna, just remember that in ten years when you wish you had never done it, its gonna be 1500$ to make you ears look semi normal

I've never had any pain while sleeping with them. I usually stretched mid day so by the time I went to sleep they didn't hurt.

I was at a 0(maybe a 2 - I don't remember) a couple years ago and I took them out for rugby. They closed up completely before the end of the season. I don't think 0s are big enough to make your ears look disgusting after taking them out.

I agree with you guys when you say big ones look bad. I'm not a fan of them over 7/16s or so. I think small ones look cool tho especially wood plugs.

Have you ever seen a highly qualified well off professional such as doctors, engineers, mathematicians, successful business men/women, or any other academic person with stretched ears? I haven't, you know why? Because they're educated enough to realize you look like a fucking idiot with stretched ears and they're a really bad choice.

Also they don't go back to normal. I've asked a doctor this and she says once they're stretched the only way to get them back to looking normal is through surgery.
