Help with new skis

I want to buy my friends skis for $200 They are the 2012 volkl gotomas and they have the rozzy axiums on them... Is it worth it or should i use the 200 and put it towards some better skis?

I am 5' 2'' 100 pounds and I am a pretty good normal skier but not so good at park skiing.

200 aint bad at all if you are just using them this season, since you are probably going to grow out of them by next season. Volkl makes great skis and the gotamas are known to be awesome. just make sure they are in good condition. Cosmetic wear such as top sheet chips will cause no issues in performance but make sure you know whether they have any core shots or edge cracks. you can live with a ski with a core shot or two but don't buy them if they have any edge cracks.

Ok thanks a lot and he lowered the price on them to 150 so with that advice I think that Ill go and get them...
