I prefer to ski powder and trees, but I live in the east, so that isn't really an option. I want a ski that can hold up on jumps because rails aren't really my thing. A typical day for me skiing is cruising groomers looking for powder, and I go into the park when I get bored. My stats are 150lbs, 5'9"-10". At the moment, I ski 2013 Atomic punx at 173. I love how light the skis are. In my next pair of skis, I would like something a bit stiffer, and I would also like to try something with rocker. Symmetrical is also preferred because I love cruising around switch. Faction 1.0 seems to fit this build. Do you guys have any opinions? How is there durability? Are there any other skis I should look at?
Plenty of skis will fit that bill man. If you are looking for more of a cruiser ski I would also consider asymmetrical skis. Skiing switch on asymmetrical skis really isn't hard, especially if they are still centre mounted. Anything like chronic's or newer atomics would work. The list can go on. Your requirements are fairly easy to fill. Look through gear guides, you'll find what you need
