We're about a year out, perfect time for conspiracies
This is the place for Star Wars VII news and speculation.
I'll start.

Looks like Endor is all but confirmed.

Hard to say if its anti white woukd have to see it obviously but i could see disney doing something like that, they have fucked alot of the marvel universe up.

No not at all, im just saying if you look at what disney is doing to everything they make now it all has to be pc, its not bad that there is a black guy just i hate that it like has to be done now to have a girl and black guy as leads otherwise its racist. And im sure i will still enjoy watching it.

I don't care at all, as long as he does a good job. I think most people get concerned when these casting choices become tokenism, and then the actor's performance drags down the movie. And to be fair to people who are concerned, this has happened a few times so far recently. But hopefully Boyega proves the exception and is excellent.

Boyega is going to run shit. He was brilliant in Attack the Block. I can't wait to see the lightsaber duel between him & Adam Driver's character... the latest trailer has me super hyped.

How's it anti white? There's exactly ONE black guy I even see in the main cast. He's not even a lead, there's also a white chick right next to him, a white guy enemy, and the original crew from 4-5-6... all of whom are white. Billy Dee Williams isn't even slated to be in episode 7... and he was the only prominant black dude from the original trilogy...

I wish Mace Windu were here to wreck some mothafucka...

Well thor lost his hammer and some chick is in his place now. And iron man is moving heaquarters to san fran and his suit looks like an iphone, apparently they are going to make him gay.

What I meant was that he's not a lead by singular definition... He's A lead, not THE lead... Star Wars has never been about one singular storyline. Part of what we love about these films is that there are multiple lines going on at once. That's the whole reason there's so many wipe transitions in the first place.

The typical star wars story follows about 3 story lines at once and comes all together at the end...

You follow something like Back to the Future (appropriate based on the day, AND the film era of the franchise) and it follows a singular lead character through pretty much all of the three films - in this case, McFly doing exactly the same thing, three films in a row. A little of each follow Doc on his own, but ultimately, he's a supporting character.

Star Wars isn't like that. Luke will be chillin with Yoda lifting rocks and shit with the force, 3PO and R2 will be rollin through the desert bickering like an old married couple, Obi Wan will be turning off a tractor beam, Vader will be choking a guy to death, Wedge Antillies will be 'Good Shot Red Two'ing, Admiral Ackbar will be trapping things, and Han, Leia, and Chewy will be making the jump to lightspeed. It's got a wide array of character development and multiple lines going on all over the place where they all meet back up again at the end and credits roll. It's awesome. Expect that from this film. There's only one black guy. The serious boycotters need to take the butt plugs out of their asses and stop being racist shitpiles.

yeah there was a few things that were laughable but the plot and the characters were amazing. Perfect blend of nostalgia and revitalization. Can't wait for episode VIII!

Super awesome movie, really pleased with what JJ did- there was a lot of (fan) pressure to deliver on. My only gripe has to do with one of the plot lines. I won't spoil it, but I will say it's a bit played out at this point. Overall, I can't wait to watch it a few more times. Stoked.
