Are these boots too worn? Need your opinions

This is unfortunately not a matter of opinion but of fact. The shape and condition of your toe & heel lugs are normed in the Alpine DIN, and this means that if your toe & heel lugs are no longer the shape that the DIN norm specifies then no shop will ever mount bindings with those boots.

Every shop has a tool that gauges if your toes & heels are within the norm still. Your boots look rather beat, but the only way to know for sure is to have them check it. It will take all of 30 seconds, but be prepared for them to say they are no longer within the DIN norm.

As much as a pain in the ass it is, it's worth it for the life of your boots to walk in normal shoes/boots to the lodge.

To extend the life of your next pair, get some value village snow boots or some ten dollar walmart rain boots and then just stash them wherever you can find in the lodge. Then you don't have to pay for a locker, and if some poor hobo steals your boots you aren't out any serious cash. Works especially well if you find the most hideous looking boots out there.

If it's snowing, ziplock sandwich bags work perfectly for keeping snow out of your ski boots.

Your heels don't look all that terrible but your toes are beat. I don't think they would pass.

As said above, walking on pavement / hard surfaces kills your soles, I always put my boots on in the lodge.

Yea the toe is shot, and it looks like you've eaten through part of the shell, so even getting replacements heels and toes probably wouldn't sit right on the boot so I think you may be in the market for new boots..

2-3 seasons ... Yeah I'd agree if your putting in minimum 60 day seasons
