How do u find them? Did u hear something about it from a friend? It is a good park ski? thanks +k this ski is so interesting, I just want to know more about it. The dimensions are really weird but makes the ski so sick..
I have a pair of 185's. I love them. They can do pretty much anything. You can rip turns on groomers, very playful in the park, and still do decent in the crud and light pow. Sometimes they will wash out if I get too far back seat, but still an awesome all around ski.
Skied them hard for 3 full seasons (250+ days) in nearly every type of terrain and condition Colorado skiing has. Work really well as an all mountain daily driver but after a while they tend to fall apart pretty quickly. Edge cracks are a big issue, my pair has around 6 or 7 on all 4 edges. After cracking the edge and sidewall is next to go, that shit literally falls off the ski. Also all camber i had in the ski is non existant i guess i bent them backwards somehow. Not sure how hard you'll be skiing but this isn't a ski that will take a ton of full throttle abuse.
I just bought a pair about a week ago and am looking forward to ripping them asap! They were recommended to me by a couple different people that have used them. I made a thread asking for advice on a first pair of twin tips and several people said I should look into them. They ended up being exactly what I was looking for.
I hope mine don't have the same problems stated above as this is the first iv heard of someone having them. I also don't plan on using them for jibbing much more than about 30% of my time on the mountain so them being bomb proof isn't as big a concern.
I rode the souls for a good 3 seasons. When you first start riding them they are pretty stiff, you just gotta break the hell out of them to achieve mcslays butteriness. It was nice having such a versatile ski, when I went to Sun Peaks with some buddies it was sick not having to go to the car to switch skis for park or pow. But by spring of my 3rd season on them they were beat to hell. I picked up some 2014 traveling circus skis and im pretty excited to see how they turn out this season.
