I found 3 gamestop giftcards each from 2011s, they had $20, $25, and $30 on them. I used them to buy a game online for a total of $0, and then I tried using them to buy another, and it worked. I ended up buying nearly $500 worth of stuff using giftcards that should have accumulated to $75 before it said they had no more money on them... I got confirmation emails for each item and should be getting shipping info tomorrow...
SFB, they were given to me by a friend 3 years ago and I never put in my credit card information to ensure it wouldn't get charged, each item total came out to $0.00

same thing happened to my 30 dollar elevation burger gift card, they scan it and cant get it to work so they give me it for free. I have been getting free meals for several months now. I have the same worries though, that I'll get in trouble and I'll owe them like 200 bucks.

exactly what is the legality of this?
Serious answer-
You've been earning compounding interest because GameStop has return rates on their gift cards. You were lucky enough to get those gift cards when GS wasn't doing well (they thought they'd go bankrupt and needed to liquidate stuff, hence the cards) and ended up being bailed out by the administration in 2012 and the interest rates dropped back to normal.
These cards are super rare and valuable today because they're reloadedable and still valid + insured by the FDIC. The smart thing to do is load one of the cards with as much $ as possible and hold it there so you can earn an unbelievable return.
Don't believe me? Let the numbers do the talking. I'd ask your rents to borrow some money, get them in on the $$$$$$

oh my god. How long will this really last before you can't do this? Are there any limits for how much he can have on a card??
OP could just load a fuckton on all 3 and wait 10 years, have all the gaming stuff he could ever want and make mad money on the side.
I swear I'm not trolling, here are some orders I placed.
I don't think the whole compound interest thing applies here, when I checked the balance of each card they had $20, $25, and $30. I think for some reason the balance wasn't being taken out of the cards.
