College Freestyle Teams

I'm looking to start a freestyle team at my college, all we have here are unorganized "Clubs". I was wondering if there are any other college freestyle teams out there that compete against other schools? if theres anything along these lines what is it like and how was/is it organized?
Feedback from other college students would be much appreciated.

Might be hard unless your in Denver or Vermont, ski area with lots of schools.
