I know I made it sound like I didn't read the post, and that was my bad, but I'm still unsure whether you have to strictly use the provided footage or whether you can add stuff in.

hmmm good question. Hadn't thought about that. Lets go with use whatever you want. If you have some art of flight footage or some totally trevor style antics you think you can mix in and make a good edit with go for it. The more creative the better.
