Good at what kind of skiing. All over skill, someone can shred park, bumbs, trees, powder, carve groomers.

Or good at these things individually.

Also if someone can ski rally good switch than that really is a good indicator of how good they are. Or at least thats what I think

It depends on if you mean good at park or a good skier. If they carry themselves well between features and understand the mechanics of skiing they're probably good. I see so many people that can 2 pretzel 2 on a rail but have disgusting form when riding anything outside of the park making it obvious that they learned to ski on a friend's summer set up. Being really good at avoiding falling also seems to be somewhat of an indicator that they're either just in good shape or they have muscle memory/enough experience to stay on their feet.

Leaning forward in boots all the time when skiing, having edge control, having overall mountain/air awareness, knowing how to fall, can lay down GS carves at ~40mph (forward and switch), etc..

If you have all of the above, then you're usually a well rounded skier. I don't care who is good and who isn't, but never judge someone on their park skiing if you're trying to determine if they're a good SKIER.

Weather or not they can carve/bend a ski correctly. I don't give a fuck how sick your 4 pretz 2 is but if you can't get down the mountain without sliding your turns in an A-frame, you are a shitty skier.
