Hitting an electric box

Anyone that has hit one of these how do they slide? is wax or snow necessary?

In either eye trip or refresh brogan does some switch 50-50s on one and there looks to be a little snow on it.

Just to clarify, i know its been done, i'm just wondering if anyone knows if you need to wax up the surface or if it slides well as is?

When the electrical charge in the box travels through your skis into your body, you probably don't need to worry about the waxing of the box.
