14/15 Amplid Rockwells??

I'm considering buying this ski since I'm overseas and there is a sale on a display model for $550. Has anyone here skied any Amplid models? What's the consensus on this brand?

I just pulled the trigger on them. I read about them here http://exoticskis.com/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=337 sounds like just what I'm looking for. I'll being skiing in South Korea (home to the 2018 olympics) mostly and a hopefully a trip to Japan this winter. I'll be mounting a pair of brand new 2013 griffions I picked up for $120. I'm stoked on this sick new set-up that only cost me $670
