On3p Jefferey center mount?

How would the 176 jeffereys perform center mounted for someone who is 5'7"? I like to charge and prefer a stiffer ski but I was thinking of mounting them center because i will probably be riding them in the park a good amount and skiing switch a lot. Opinions?

I have my 181 Jmo's mounted centre, they still perform fine and the benefits as a park ski are worth it. My only gripe is they do feel a little tail heavy when things get tight in the trees.

Word, you think the jeffereys will still perform pretty well on rails center mounted despite the extra width?

I bombed through the park in 181 Jefferys (mounted -1) once in a while last year and it was a blast dude. Their swing weight is a bit heavy, but I don't care for whirlybirds anyway.

You'd be fine with center mount. My -1 mount felt great in the tree's and in the park. I'm 5'11, 145 btw

im no expert on the topic but i center-mounted my 181s too and i love them.

reasons: center-mount is more familiar, ill find myself in the park when i hadnt planned on it, switch..

if i had a new pair id probably mount them back a tad now tho

weight would be more of a concern with a ski that size and your height. they're reasonably stiff skis, and something that burly in the park might be a bit cumbersome, but everybody has different preferences and whatnot. I've got 186s mounted -2cm, and while i don't really ride park with them much, i don't find the swing weight to be an issue, and i really don't think they'd ski much better switch if they were mounted farther forward; i'm just as comfortable switch on them as any other ski i've ever had.

source: my park skis are line blends mounted dead center, which is also a direction ski. the on3ps feel just as comfy switch as the blends do.

My 186's never see the park. They are mounted at recommended which I believe is somewhere around -4cm, but have been the most comfortable skis for me to ride switch on until getting on my Presters.

I wouldn't mount center on anything that wasn't symmetrical, but that's me. If it was going to a 75%+ park ski, 1-2cm back would be my vote.
