Tyrolia Attack 13's?

Just found a deal for Attacks for $150 brand new. Should I take them up on it? What's the deal with these bindings? I heard their kinda like Griffon's toe piece wise, but that's about it. Any input?

Like almost all modern bindings they work just fine. Buy what you can get a deal on.

Pretty sure the stack height is lower than griffons, and they don't have a dildo heel to stab you in the taint when you fall backwards.

I've got them that's a good price. The heel pice is really nice and easy to get into, unlike the griffins, and it won't stab you in the ass. Also the binding is lighter and has a lower stand hight and is a very good buy in my opinion.

They are a great binding but for me they have one major flaw. The brake screws directly in to the ski. By which I mean that the the front two holes of the heel plate also hold the brake down. So if you fuck your brakes and need to change them you have to remove the front two screws from the wood. If you break a lot of brakes that's going to weaken your mount and cause problems.

Is that "flaw" on the newer ones? Considering picking up a pair but don't wanna remount evry time.
