Has anybody ever successfully made a rainbow rail in their yard? Seems like the woodworking to hold the PVC could be pretty complicated. Anybody have any ideas on how to make one without putting in a ridiculous amount of time?
Basically you have to cut out plywood in the shape of the rail, then add supports (as you can see in the photo) vertically every foot or so then one more thin piece of plywood cut to like 4 inch wide that goes the length of the rail. Then get some pvc, drill that baby in.
The pallets on the side are very necessary too, it was basically impossible to balance without burying.
