Summer Setup and New skis

I just recently made my first summer setup and I have been using my old skis. I want to use my new skis but I don't want to get them dirty or scratched up. The landing to my setup is a little odd, because it's on a hill and it's a bit muddy. Is there anything that I could put on the landing so I don't scratch up my skis? Making sure they aren't dirty is also a plus. Thanks for advice in advance.

I get that you want to use the skis that you'll be using on snow, but even though your skis don't really take any abuse from pvc they will from smacking against each other and just getting banged around all day seshing in the dirt and mud.
I know because i use my setup quite a bit. I mean your new skis would probably hold up fine, but if you have the opportunity to use old skis/bindings regardless of mount(within reason) then i would most def use the old shit. If your dead set on having them centered, then remount them, but i don't think it will make a difference taking what you learn seshing on the setup and bringing it to snow with -2,-3 difference

Ya just use your old skis. I rode rear mounted skis for a while a few years back. Its not to big of a deal for a summer set up because your not bombing in switch to stuff.

my friend uses his old skis on setups(i do too) but his skis are mounted far back. They're old k2 race skis so he doesn't beat up his nice ones. he can do everything the same on rails except tail press cuz of how far back they are mounted. How far back are you mounted?
